How clients currently manage their legal problems
REVIEW: Client experience
People have different ways of dealing with their problems, whatever the problem may be.
The latest Civil Justice Survey report breaks down the strategies for those with a justiciable problem as:
• Formal help: 29.4%
• Informal help only: 14.9%
• Handled Alone: 40%
• Did Nothing: 15.7%
Of those who sought formal advice, 23.7% chose to go a solicitor.
To me, this seems a very low number, especially those who go to the people trained to deal with such problems, solicitors.
